Command Prompt Here

i added a VBScript file to create a command prompt shortcut ‘context menu’ on my freeware page

it doesn’t do much… but i needed it for myself (setting up a new PC :D) and i figure i may as well post it, maybe it will spark a fire in ya for how powerful VBScript is on a Windows box.

enjoy or not… its all up to you… but don’t tell me how M$ has it already in powertoys… for 1 i don’t care… for 2 their install is 400Kb, mine is not even 1Kb.

Command Prompt Here

o yeah… i know i said my next freeware would be Google related… well its gonna have to wait til i get some icon files and minor graphics created… anyone willing to volunteer their services will of course get links and credit! (but no money… as it’s freeware and i will not be getting money either)

also, i looked at my next google freeware project and really all i need is icons… anybody wanna become and icon guru? it’s crazy that an icon file can have several versions (widthxheight)… man it just makes things more of a pain in the neck! guess i’m just a coder and not a graphical kinda guy

  3. Pretty neat little download Buster. Not sure if I will need it or not but I’m going to give it a try.

haha…And I’ll make your icons if you want…google stick figures…haha

  4. haha… yes, we are very familary w/ the Benny stick figures…

what type of icons are you looking for? Probably not the best for the job, but can give it a wack!

Command Prompt Here is very nice !!! Don’t use it a whole lot…
but when I do… it is a big time and head ache saver.

Just trying to change directories in DOS when the directory has a space is such a pain.

I always get confused if I should use “quotes” or the tilda ~deal.

Thanks for the Cool Tool! Now I can dump part of my M$ Powertoys junk….. that should have been in the OS to begin with… 🙂
